Couples who allow themselves to be vulnerable. Elegant venues. Lots of natural light. Meaningful details. Collaborating with like-minded vendors. Trusting us to take your vision and put that into artwork. All of those things make us a good fit.

Our best work comes from working with people and spaces we connect with.

The string that unites a Fonash Studios’s couple is their emphasis on the importance of a well-designed wedding film. It’s an investment for a future day. Couples know there’s many options for videography but there’s only one best suited for them. Ultimately, maybe it’s not us. And that’s OK.

We love all of those things.

The beautiful thing about weddings is that each one is different. Some couples want a vibrant historic venue with a great party. Some couples plan an intimate day with just a few close people. Some couples want a grand ceremony and elegant reception.

congratulations! Now what?

so, you're engaged

I have always been fascinated by the power that you have with a camera and a bit of creativity. When I was growing up, I used to make short home videos with iMovie and invite my family to watch (my mom made the popcorn). The instant gratification I received when we could all re-live those memorable moments is what carried me into this profession.

Today, weddings are the perfect opportunity to capture all sorts of big moments (bride coming down the aisle) – or little, but impactful moments (giving a small gift to your parents). Being able to live those moments together with you and meticulously edit them together in a way that produces art is what energizes me.

Making video content has always brought me satisfaction and happiness.

I look forward to them getting to relive their day and possibly see some moments they may have missed in the hustle and bustle of the wedding day.

One thing that is important to me is music and sound and how that impacts a film in such profound ways. It’s such a rewarding feeling when you’re searching for hours trying to find the best music, and then all of a sudden you find a piece that matches the couple’s day and personality perfectly. It empowers me to sit down, pour a cup of coffee (or glass of red wine) and begin to edit together a story that is special and unique to each and every one of our couples.

IT’S SUCH A RUSH OF EXCITEMENT WHEN WE FINISH EDITING A WEDDING FILM AND GET TO SHARE IT TO OUR COUPLES.

With nearly 300 weddings under our belt, we’ve seen a lot over the years. Here’s some things that make up who we are:

Coming from broadcast television, Martina and I both started our careers as producers. We’re equally good at technical things like camera placement and shot composition as we are with storytelling elements and editing. To be a good producer is to be a good listener. We take notes. We remember those little details you tell us (like your dog Charlee is going to be the best flower pup). We’re constantly thinking of how we can make your wedding film look and feel the best.

01. EXCEPTIONALLY DETAILED

Aerial video creates a whole different perspective in a wedding film. Both Martina and myself are licensed by the FAA, which means we’re fully certified to fly drones. And this matters! You don’t want somebody breaking the law – or worse, causing a potential safety or annoyance issue on your wedding day. We both have the experience and proficiency to create cinematic aerial shots that will elevate your film.

02. WE’RE drone pilots.

It’s easy to stand in the corner, point a camera at something, and press record. That’s not what we do. We’re here for the whole process - before, during, and after. To make a great film is to combine all those pieces together. Your wedding day will have a whole range of emotions - tears of joy, tears of sadness, soul-filling laughter, vulnerability, a deep sense of purpose and love (aka. all the feels) We want to experience that too. And when we can document those emotions and translate them into film - bingo.

03. WE’RE EMPATHETIC.

We take pride in having your back - before, during and after your wedding day. It’s part of our signature. Hearing your grandparent's voice. Seeing your Dad's smile. Re-living your best friend's speech. A wedding film is an heirloom investment.
