This film is your quintessential Fonash Studios story. These kinds of weddings take us back to our roots as wedding filmmakers. Scranton’s Green Ridge. Big families. Catholic churches. Packed dance floors. Seeing lots of familiar faces. Grace and Michael’s wedding day was the epitome of the weddings and couples we love to be a part of.
I believe that showcasing emotion and dialogue are the biggest driving forces behind a good wedding film. When you can authentically capture emotions – exuberance, vulnerability, nostalgia, humor – that’s when a wedding film becomes an heirloom film. While there were so many touching moments during their day, the second half of this film revolves around Mike’s brother’s speech – which was probably one of the best I’ve ever heard. His dialogue and delivery talked about bringing together two families into one. It touched on all the things I think of when I picture a Green Ridge wedding.
