Sometimes certain weddings just speak to me. It's hard to describe, but it's a feeling inside that I just connect with. I know that sounds cheesy, it sounds cliche... but it's 100% true. This was one of those weddings. Kate and Louis are the epitome of the couples we strive to work with.

A little about them...

Kate and Louis met at Amherst College in the Frost Library where Louis approached Kate while studying (Louis' dad said the only way he'd meet a nice girl was to go to the library on a Saturday morning - I suppose he took this advice.) They hit it off, and eventually did the whole long-distance thing for a while (a REALLY long distance... Tokyo & NYC). Finally, they moved in together just outside of Boston when Kate matched in residency. Along the way, they got engaged in Japan - on a famous red bridge surrounded by cherry blossoms.

Some things that inspired me about that day:

• Being surrounded by good people.

• The florals and decor under the tent.

• A beautiful ceremony.

• The packed dance floor and terrific band.

• How kindhearted their parents were to us.

I will remember that day for what it was - a true representation of genuine happiness. Thanks for making that so memorable.
