I remember having our initial video call and getting really excited. "We're having a rustic-woodsy vibe with greens, fireplaces, and lots of bourbon and beer!" These two have such large personalities (AJ in particular) and you can clearly tell that friends and family are a priority in their lives.

Even though Bear Mountain isn't too far away, it felt like a destination wedding. Martina and I spent an additional day with Meagan & AJ - doing an interview, getting scenic shots, and attending the rehearsal dinner - which was held at a brewery just north of the city. In-between sips of local beer, getting shots of them hugging people, and chasing down trains outside, we were able to make friends of our own and really felt a part of their wedding group.

The next day, the wedding itself was a mix of emotions, as it often is. We had first looks, gifts, letters, an evening ceremony, and lots (I mean LOTS) of dancing.

I feel this film represents the best of who we strive to be. It showcases what's possible when you have so much content to work with. To me, this ISN'T a wedding film, it's an heirloom film that tells the story at that particular time in their lives.
